Photo of Jim Dyar and Keli Tims Dyar, A Dyar Situation

Singer-songwriter Jim Dyar and multi-instrumentalist Keli Tims Dyar have been performing as A Dyar Situation since 2020. A longtime musician in Northern California, Jim has recorded and performed with the Jim Dyar Band, Muletown and Jim Dyar and the Barefoot Band. Vocalist/songwriter Keli Tims plays keyboards, mandolin, guitar and percussion. She is also a landscape photographer and visual artist.  The Dyar duo have been performing together since 2017 and later married in 2019, forming a true "Dyar Situation".

Celebrating life in a post-Pandemic world, A Dyar Situation released "Glad to be anywhere" in August, 2023. The album features themes of love, travel, friendship and daring adventure. Produced by Bruce Turgon (Foreigner/Lou Gramm), the songs on the album "each stand alone, wrought from solid rhythm, exquisitely controlled instrumentation, a production aesthetic that is a wonderous blend of spacey-cosmic over soul-of-the-earth, and incisive, poignant lyrics that are never not fun." - Bay Area recording artist/producer Brian J. Kenny
